We asked Mom if we could get a monster, but she said no.

So, we asked Dad.

And he said we had to ask Mom.

Mom said if we had a monster we’d have no time for homework. But we explained that monsters are capable of time travel and it wouldn’t be a problem.

Mom said they cost too much to feed, so we told her about the monsters that only eat grass.

Dad was excited that he wouldn’t have to mow the lawn ever again.
